Service Alternatives Tailored to Your Needs

Multiple service options are available from IAI. You select the type and extent of service you want to outsource.

You can tailor your support configuration to create whatever balance of in-house and IAI resources best matches your budget, implementation schedule, and staff availability.

Service options are based on the components described below:

Hardware and Operating System Acquisition and Management

This component includes a server with sufficient memory and disk space to process the customer’s volume of business and selected operating system. It also includes responsibility for operating system upgrades, maintenance, capacity planning, and disk space optimization. Server hardware and operating system can be customer-owned and managed or leased from and managed by IAI.

Application / Production Processing

This component includes running all application-related production jobs, managing data backups, running scheduled processing and scheduled reporting, and managing application-related network tasks. These tasks can be managed in-house or by IAI.

Application-Related System Administration Tasks

System maintenance, upgrades and releases, operating system maintenance, and periodic file cleanup are part of the SaaS services provided by IAI.

Database Alternatives

IAI’s policy administration solution includes an integrated database, managed and maintained by IAI. As an alternative, you can elect to license an external database, such as Oracle, Sybase, DB2, or SQL Server from a third party, and IAI can assist you in integrating that database with IAI’s administration system.

Application Software

Insurance administration software, providing full-function policy, client, and agent administration, is leased from and maintained by IAI.
